Trading Platforms

Trading services at AGEA can be accessed by traders through a variety of different platforms. Essentially, there are two main types of platforms at AGEA, the Streamster and MetaTrader (MT) platforms. However, there are also several other variations of these two main platforms available for traders to configure to suit their own individual trading needs.

Streamster Platforms

The Streamster platform is AGEA’s proprietary platform and is available as a standard version and a more advanced version called Streamster API for those who are more technically inclined.
User friendly and compact, the standard Streamer platform is the mainstay of AGEA’s trading platforms. The platform is ideal for new traders as it is easy to operate. Nevertheless, it is also packed with powerful features which also make it suitable for experienced traders. One of its most unique features is the multi-channel chat tool where traders can converse freely with other traders as well as requesting for customer support.
With the Streamster API platform, technically competent traders will have access to additional functionalities with the Streamster platform by programming the Streamster platform to perform specific requests coming from the trader’s computer.

MetaTrader (MT) Platforms

For traders who are looking to trade with a familiar platform, they can always opt for the MT 4 platform. Sophisticated and programmable, the MT4 is more suited for advanced traders who are looking for a platform which is more customizable and is Expert Advisors (EAs) compatible.

As for the MT5 platform, the MT5 platform is actually an offshoot of the MT4 platform but is designed for trading equities and derivatives with a single trading account. Apart from all the old functionalities on the MT4 platform, MT5 platform also introduces to traders many new features not previously found on the MT4 platform.
Mobile versions of the above mentioned platforms are also available for traders who wish to trade the markets on the smartphones or mobile devices.

Trading Account

The types of trading accounts at AGEA are categorized according to the type of trading platform selected. For example, with the Streamster platform, you only need a token deposit of $1/- to open a live trading account. However with the MT based platforms, you have to choose from the following:

  • Standard (Minimum deposit of $100/-)
  • Cent (Minimum deposit of $6/-)
  • STP (Minimum deposit of $1000/-)
  • Fixed Spread (Minimum deposit of $5/$100/-)
Opening a trading account at AGEA is a simple process and takes less than 5 minutes to complete all the forms submission. As an added incentive to new traders, AGEA is currently waiving the minimum deposit requirement and instead gives them a $5/- free money reward to help them kick off their trading career at AGEA.

 Commission & Spreads

As for the spreads payable at AGEA, they are quite reasonable and start from as low as 0.9 pips for major pairs like the USD/JPY. For the EUR/USD pair, traders can expect to pay a minimum of 1 pip.
